Others' Opinions

Sometimes we find that those we have known for a long time have opinions of us that we wouldn't have believed. It is far harder for a person to reveal a heartfelt and strongly favorable opinion (e.g., we think you are brilliant and have every confidence in your success), than a negative opinion. Negative opinions are common, positive ones rare. Therefore, listen carefully to the positive ones and treasure them when they are sincere.
